The Leapmotor T03 comes with a 37.3 kWh lithium-ion battery, which is available with both AC and DC charging options:
- DC Charger: It supports up to 48 kW, which can charge 30 to 80 per cent in just 36 minutes.
- AC Charger: It supports a typical 6.6 kW; for a full charge, it takes up to 8 hours.
On full charge, this electric car is expected to give a real-world range of around 250-270 km, based on road, weather and driving style.
This EV has a single permanent magnet synchronous motor, which generates the power of 94 bhp and torque of 158 Nm. It has a single-speed automatic transmission with a front-wheel drive option.
The acceleration timing for 0-100 km/h is 12.7 seconds, which is adequate for urban driving and merging on highways, and the top speed is expected to be around 130 km/h, good enough for daily commuting.
