The Honda PCX 125 is a premium scooter to be launched by Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, featuring a larger body and comfortable ergonomics. The launch of this two-wheeler in India is anticipated in the first quarter of 2026.

This scooter is designed for daily city driving, and it provides a smooth riding experience. Details regarding its price are not yet officially disclosed, but the expected ex-showroom price is between ₹85,000 and ₹110,000.

Specification: Engine, Performance & Mileage 

The Honda PCX 125 comes with the 125 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled 4-stroke SOHC engine, which generates the power of 11.69 PS at 8,500 rpm and 12 Nm at 5,000 to 6,500 rpm. 

It features Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) automatic transmission and a belt-drive drivetrain. The acceleration time from 0 to 60 kmph will be 6-7 seconds, and the top speed will be 90-95 kmph.

It is expected that the scooter will deliver a mileage of 45 kmpl in the city and an estimated 48 kmpl on the highway. The scooter comes with an 8-litre fuel tank, meaning its range will be 370 km under mixed driving conditions.

The Honda PCX 125 looks quite stylish and modern from the front, its side profile gives it an aerodynamic look, and its rear design makes it easily recognisable from behind. The highlights are:

Features: Safety, Comfort & Convenience 

The Honda PCX 125 is packed with features, including an anti-lock braking system to provide control in emergency braking situations, and the Honda Selectable Torque Control, which prevents the rear wheel from slipping.

For the comfort of both the rider and pillion, this scooter features a large, cushioned stepped seat, along with integrated under-seat storage to accommodate essential items such as a helmet or bag.

For the rider’s convenience, this scooter features a smart keyless start option, along with a digital instrument cluster and a USB-C charging socket. A large footboard has also been added for a comfortable riding experience.

Chassis: Platform, Brake & Suspension 

The Honda PCX 125 is based on a tubular steel underbone frame, which is both strong and stable. The front brake is a hydraulic disc with dual-piston caliper, whose thickness is 220 mm, and rear brake is drum with thickness of 130 mm.

The top trim may also have disc brakes in the rear. The front suspension is a 31 mm telescopic fork, which absorbs bumps and small potholes easily, and the rear suspension is twin shock absorbers, which work in providing comfort, especially for the pillion.

Dimensions: Length, Seat Height, Ground Clearance & Wheelbase 

The Honda PCX 125 has a length of 1,935 mm, which gives it a bold road presence and makes it easily recognizable even in city traffic. Its seat height is 764 mm, which provides a comfortable seating position for people with heights ranging from 5’4″ to 5’10”.

Its wheelbase, the distance between the front and rear wheels, is 1315 mm, which is quite good for its segment and provides better stability at high speeds. Its ground clearance is 163 mm, which is sufficient for riding on uneven roads.
