VinFast to Launch 3 New Electric Cars in India in 2026: Prices, Range & Details

The Vietnamese automaker VinFast entered the Indian market with its electric SUVs VF76 and VF7 in September 2025. Now, the brand has confirmed it will bring a global launch to the Indian market, speculating new electric cars in 2026. People who are wondering about the new VinFast models can find full details here. 

The models are made in India and carry the badge as well, which brings trust towards the brand. The brand has signed an agreement with 13 dealer groups to expand its dealerships in India to 32 in 27 cities. The brand is all set to strengthen its presence in the electric vehicle landscape in the booming market of India.

The current VF 6 and VF 6 come in various variants; the starting price for the respective models is ₹16.49 lakh and ₹20.89 lakh. The upcoming electric cars from VinFast will be arriving in 2026, as per the rumors.

VinFast VF 3

VinFast is planning to launch the micro SUV, VF 3 model, in the Indian market, which will directly compete with the MG Comet EV. According to the global launch, the model will be a 4-seater eSUV with a modern and sporty touch. 

It will be launched in the Indian market in the first half of 2026 at a price between ₹8 lakh to ₹10 lakh. The VF3  model has a dynamic and compact design that does not lack in space and offers a great experience for customers. Here’s what you can expect from the VinFast VF3 model:

  • The VF 3 is a little larger than the MG Comet with a two-door and four-seater SUV design.   
  • The model offers a trendy exterior that matches the current styling demands, such as a boxy structure, vibrant colours, a projector with halogen headlamp, and a tail lamp. 
  • The model has a grip-type handle and a power window, adding to the convenience of the car. 
  • The model will have 1 front airbag, and maximum payload of 300 kg, and a roof load of 50 kg.
  • The model will have a 10-inch infotainment screen, smart keys, speakers, front dome lamp, and front driver and passenger seat adjustment.
  • The model comes with a wireless charging pod, ABS, HSA, TCS, EBD, and other safety and security features. 
  • The model will have a battery capacity of 18.6 kWh, a portable charger of 3 kW, and a 215 km driving range.  
  • The model can produce 40 hp and 110 Nm of torque and a maximum speed of 100 km at an acceleration of 0-100 km/h in 19 seconds.

VinFast Limo Green

VinFast is planning to launch its 7-seater MPV, Limo Green, to the Indian market in early 2026. The model is currently available in the domestic market only. It’s a commercial vehicle that will also meet the family vehicle demand in Indian households. 

The officials have not revealed much about the model, but they have mentioned it can come around February 2026 in the Indian market. Here’s what you can expect from the VinFast Limo Green model:

  • The model is not a full-size 7-seater MPV; it is a 5+2 model that will meet the needs of the customers. 
  • The silhouette represents a safari-like raised roof, V-lamp design at the front and rear, with a designed grille. 
  •  The model will have 6-way adjustable driver seats, LED front lights, a 10.1-inch infotainment screen, and Eco/Normal driving mode.
  • The model will have 60.13 kWh battery capacity, offering 450 km driving range per full charge. 
  • The model offers 80 kW DC fast charging power that can charge the battery in 30 minutes. 
  • The electric motors can produce 150 kW of maximum power and 280 Nm of torque.

VinFast VF9

VinFast can launch its flagship luxury eSUV model in the Indian market in mid-2026. The brand has showcased the model at Bharat Mobility Expo for the premium segment electric SUV. The model delivers high-end quality and luxury to the customers.

For now, the VF9 is available in Vietnam, Europe, and the North American market. The company is expanding its footprint in the Indian electric vehicle market with this premium SUV. Here’s what you can expect from the upcoming VF 9:

  • The VF 9 has a futuristic design, delivering a spacious and relaxing interior, elevating the experience of the customers. 
  • The driver seats have power adjustment, cooling & heating features, a massage feature, and a wireless charging pod. 
  • The current model at the global level comes in seven colours, and the roof slopes towards the end.
  • The model will come with two variants – Eco and Plust, where both have 123 kWh battery capacity and 531 km driving range. 
  • The combined power of the model is around 408 bhp and 620 Nm of torque. The model has acceleration 0 – 100 kmph in 6.6 seconds in the Eco version, while 6.7 seconds in the Plus version.
