New CFMoto 1000MT-X Breaks Cover With 83kW Power and Big Updates

CFMoto, a Chinese brand, has unveiled the next-generation flagship 1000MT-X at the EICMA 2025 show in Milan, Italy. It is the brand’s most ambitious adventure motorcycle in the ADV segment. People who are excited about the new CFMoto model can check the full details about it here. 

 CFTMoto’s new adventure bike will have the latest KTM LC8c parallel twin. This model is top of the MT lineup and a bold entry into the liter-class ADV segment, competing with heavyweight motorcycles, such as Honda Africa Twin, KTM 1290 Super Adventure, etc. 

The space of the ADV category was dominated by the Japanese and European manufacturers till now. The CFMoto 1000MT-X will be a long-range touring motorcycle with off-road capability and premium quality.  

New CFMoto 1000MT-X Launch 

The Hangzhou-based CFMoto has unveiled the new flagship 1000MT-X at the EICMA show, which is somewhat identical to the MT siblings. After its big unveiling, many are wondering when this new model will arrive on the market. 

CFMoto can roll out the new adventure bike 1000MT-X in mid-2026 in the global market. However, the CFMoto 1000MT-X will be available in the respective market, depending on the region and market. 

New CFMoto 1000MT-X Designs

The new CFMoto 1000MT-X design is somewhat identical to its MT sibling, the 800MT-X  bodywork. Here, you can find what the CFMoto 1000MT-X looks like:

• The motorcycle will have the aluminum swingarm and tubular-steel frame that is the same as the MT sibling. 
• The model will have a sporty look with an LED lightning package integrated with DRLs, giving a sharp and modern look.
• The model will have the ground clearance, protective panels, and handguards for off-road capability. 
• The model will have the bold dual tones as shown at the EICMA 2025, such as matte greys, metallic blues, and others. 
• The model has two-seat options, a high seat at 34.3 inches and another is a low-seat version that reduces the suspension travel by 1.6 inches, to about 32.7 inches, making the bike handling a lot easier for short riders. 
• The model will have wire wheels of 21-inch at the front and 18 at the rear for better speed and experience. 
• The model is installed with an 8-inch TFT with an adjustable screen, through which you can access various information and features. 

New CFMoto 1000MT-X Specifications

Now, let’s talk about the technical and mechanical details of the new CFMoto 1000MT-X to assess its performance:

• Engine: The model is adopting the KTM-inspired engine, the KTM LC8c parallel twin engine with a displacement of 997cc. The engine can produce the power up to 83kW at 8500 rpm and 105 Nm at 6250 rpm. 
• Transmission: The model will have the bore and stroke of 92.5 mm x 70.4 mm, and it will have a six-speed gearbox with slipper clutch and quickshifter features. 
• Weight: The dry weight of the 1000MT-X will be around 199 kg, and the curb weight is around 222 kg. 
• Breakers: The model has Brembo brakes with 320 mm discs and 260 mm discs at the rear end with twin-piston calipers. 
• Fuel Tank: The 1000Mt-X has a 22.5 L fuel tank capacity that can travel up to 280 miles (450 km). 

New CFMoto 1000MT-X Price 

CFMoto has not revealed the 1000MT-X price yet, but based on its engine and features, we can expect the model to be priced at £12,000 in the European market. The price of the CFMoto 1000MT-X will depend on the market and its adventure motorcycle segment.
