Mahindra & Mahindra is all set to launch a new all-electric SUV, the ‘XEV 9S,’ this month. This EV is going to be a 7-seater version of the XEV 7e. It comes with a rugged body and futuristic design; it will be available with two battery options—which will generate high power.

Launch & Price
Mahindra & Mahindra is all set to launch the XEV 9s at the ‘Scream Electric’ event in Bengaluru on 27th November 2025. The world will see its first glimpse on the very same date; shortly after its lunch, the booking for this EV will begin, which will be followed by the delivery.
The ex-showroom price of this upcoming electric car is yet to be disclosed by the automakers; there is high speculation that in New Delhi it will cost around ₹21 lakh for the base variant, and the on-road price may go up to ₹23 lakh or even more.

The upcoming e-SUV is made on the INGLO platform, the same as the XEV 9e and BE 6. As it is expected to be the 7-seater version of the XEV 9e, we can anticipate that it will share the powertrain from the same EV.

It is expected the 59 kWh and 69 kWh battery packs will take 20 minutes to charge the car from 20 to 80 percent with DC charging capacities of 140 kW and 175 kW, respectively.
The AC charger is 7.2 kW or 11 kW; the standard-range one will take around 6 to 8.5 hours, and the long-range one will take 8 to 11.5 hours to fully charge the EV.
