Maruti e-Vitara Launching Soon: Battery Options, Features & Expected Price

The e-Vitara is the first electric SUV from Maruti Suzuki; it is all set to be launched in the Indian market with two different battery packs and pricing options. The smaller one is for city use, and the larger one is for long range. 

It has a spacious cabin with high-tech features to ensure safety, comfort, and convenience. The body of this electric car is quite bold, with premium lighting and alloy wheels, which make it recognizable even in city traffic.

Here, we have shared everything you need to know about the Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara. Read this article to check the launch date, ex-showroom price, specification, design, features, and dimensions. 

Availability 

Maruti Suzuki is expected to launch the e-Vitara in December 2025. The confirmed date for its launch was the 2nd of the month, but they didn’t launch on this date, and they also haven’t confirmed a new date for its launch. 

The pricing details for this EV will be disclosed with the launch; it is expected that this electric car with a standard battery will be available with an ex-showroom price of ₹17 lakh, and the same for the long-range battery is ₹22 lakh.

Specification

The e-Vitara by Maruti Suzuki is available with two battery packs, which are 49 kWh and 61 kWh. Both come with a permanent-magnet synchronous electric motor; check their specifications below:

It is available with AC and DC charging options. With an AC charger of 11 kW, it takes around 9 hours to fully charge it within 9-10 hours. It is likely to support up to a 100 kW DC charger, which will charge the battery from 10 to 80 percent in 45 minutes.

Design 

The Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara’s exterior features bold SUV-style proportions with chunky wheel arches, sleek LED headlamps with LED daytime-running lamps, alloy wheels, a roof spoiler, slim LED tail lamps at the rear, and sculpted bumper and body cladding for a rugged yet modern look.

And the interior of this electric car comes with a dual-tone cabin with a soft-touch, modern dashboard layout with a floating center console, comfortable, well-padded seats, and ambient lighting with quality trim for a premium ambience.

Dimensions 

The dimensions of the Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara in terms of length, width, and height are 4275 mm, 1800 mm, and 1640 mm, respectively; these measurements make this EV’s presence bold on the road. It has quite a long wheelbase, which is 2700 mm, to give better stability.

The ground clearance of this electric car is 185 mm, which helps it to run even on rough roads; it will have boot space of 562 liters with the rear seat folded down. The wheel size is going to be 18-inch and 19-inch for the EV with standard and long range battery, respectively.
