The British automaker, MINI, has launched its new electric SUV, the Countryman SE All4, in the Indian market. It is a stylish and aerodynamic car, which has a spacious interior with high-tech features and powerful motors.
It is brought to India as a CBU with an all-wheel drive option; this EV gives a range of hundreds of km on a full charge. The wheelbase of this car is quite long, which gives ample legroom and headroom for all the occupants.
The ground clearance of this e-car is good enough to help it run even on rough roads, and the DC charging option charges the battery of this EV within an hour. It is introduced with an ex-showroom price of ₹66.90 lakh.

Battery Packs
It is launched in the country with a single battery pack, which is 66.45 kWh lithium ion. The electric car is equipped with two electric motors, one in the front and one in the rear—which gives excellent grip and balance.
It generates a maximum of 313 hp of power and 494 Nm of torque, and the acceleration timing from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour is only 5.6 seconds. On a full charge, this electric vehicle gives a range of 440 km—as per WLTP certification.
It supports the DC charger up to 130 kW, which charges this electric car from 10 to 80 percent only in 29 minutes at the station, and with the AC charger of 22 kW, it takes around 3 hours and 45 minutes to charge the EV fully.
Since it is an electric car, it comes with automatic transmission, and the all-wheel drive option makes this electric car also a great option for off-roading thrills and also for smooth city and highway driving.
Interior Features
The interior is quite spacious and filled with high-tech features. It includes a 9.4-inch circular OLED touchscreen, which runs on MINI Operating System 9. It does wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, voice assistants, and digital instrument clusters.
This EV’s interior is built of sustainable materials, which include recycled fabric, a chrome-free surface, and a premium soft-touch finish. For the comfort of occupants, it has a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, heated seats, and auto climate control.
Exterior Features
It has a bold exterior with a muscular and adventure-oriented design. At the front, a hexagonal grille and LED matrix headlamps are added to give an aggressive look. The 18-inch alloy wheels and black cladding in the side profile strengthen the SUV character.
LED Union-Jack taillamps, spoiler, and dual-tone roof design in back gives sporty touch; this electric car is available in four colour options: Melting Silver, Smokey Green, Nanuq White, and Legend Grey.
Dimensions
The dimensions of this e-car in length are 4,433 mm, width is 1,843 mm, and height is 1,656 mm; overall these measurements make this electric SUV’s presence bold on the road. The boot space of this EV is 460 liters, which is good enough to carry big luggage.
The wheelbase, i.e., the distance between the front and rear wheels, is 2,692 mm, resulting in good legroom and headroom for the comfort and convenience of the driver and passenger and a ground clearance of 203 mm for easy maneuvering on rough roads.
Safety Features
