Entering a new year, the company is expanding its portfolio with the electric motorcycle debut with new models. The mission of the brand remains the same: “Pure Motorcycling.” The brand has shared a glimpse of the 2026 lineup at EICMA 2025 and Motoverse.

Royal Enfield Electric Motorcycle Debut

Royal Enfield is not only looking back to its legacy on this 125th anniversary, but they are also looking forward to the future with determination; the electric motorcycle is proof of that. The company has showcased the Flying Flea, a new electric motorcycle, at the EICMA 2025.

RE will debut in the electric motorcycle segment with the Flying Flea C6, inspired by the iconic Flying Flea, which was used during World War II. RE has confirmed the launch of the Flying Flea C6 in the first quarter of 2026. The company showcased the Flying Flea C6 at EICMA 2024.

According to the RE MD, the 2026 year can see the two electric models – one which is city-focussed FF-C6 and the other Scrambler style S6. The Scrambler S6 was showcased at EICMA 2025 and later at Motorverse. The Scrambler S6 Flying Flea can roll out in 2026 late 2026.

Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 EV Features & Specifications

Royal Enfield says the Flying Flea C6 is rooted in classic and retro vibes, while it features new technology. According to a glimpse at EICMA and the rumors, you can expect the following from the first EV motorcycle from RE:

  • Design:
  • The Flying Flea C6 will have a design following its retro roots with classic styling cues, a slender frame, round headlamp, forged girder fork front suspension, and others.
  • The C6 model is a single-seater bike with a split-seat and a floating solo-saddle that blends perfectly with the modern aesthetics.
  • Features:
  • The first electric motorcycle of the RE will have a Custom Vehicle Control Unit for ride customizations.
  • The bike features cruise control, lean-sensitive ABS, digital touchscreen, smart features, voice command, and others.
  • Specifications:
  • The company has kept the secret about the battery capacity and electric motors of the Flying Flea C6, so we don’t have much information about it.
  • However, it is rumored to have a 6 to 14 kWh battery capacity, as they can use Lithium-ion Phosphate batteries for cost-effectiveness and longevity.
  • The bike can offer a 100 km driving range per charge with a weight of around 100 kg.

Royal Enfield Electric Motorcycle strategy

The Royal Enfield is entering the electric motorcycle market segment with the Flying Flea models – C6 and S6, where C6 is road-focused, and S6 is a scrambler-style model. The new S6 model follows the RE deeply rooted DNA and the original Flying Flea motorcycles.

According to the reports, the RE is aiming to develop 1.5 lakh units of electric motorcycles every year with a monthly manufacturing capability of 12,500 units. Currently, the top-selling electric motorcycle is Revolt Motors, but it will sell around 10,000 in 2024.

Royal Enfield 2026 Line-up

Apart from the EV debut, the brand has planned an effective and classic lineup for 2026, presenting the legacy and history of the brand, such as:

  • RE Bullet 650
  • Classic 650 Special Edition
  • Shotgun 650
  • Himalayan 750
  • Himalayan Mana Black

The company is using its 125th anniversary to celebrate its legacy and begin something new for the brand, where Bullet 650 will show you their tradition and roots with a modern touch, while the classic 650 special edition is celebrating the 125 years of RE, and the Flying Flea C6 or S6 will show you its move towards a sustainable future.
