Bajaj Auto will be expanding its electric two-wheeler portfolio with the electric Chetak scooter. After Chetak emerged as the top-selling electric scooter, the brand is already set to launch the electric Chetak in January 2026. The testing spy images have been going viral on the internet in the last few months; based on that, you can expect the following:

• It will carry the classic Chetak design with a modern touch. You can see new side panels, a shorter seat, a refreshed grab rail, front indicators at a new place, and a new taillight setup.
• The company switches the body material to lighter materials to make the scooter lightweight. 
• The electric scooter will be powered with a 3 kWh battery, and it will be paired with a hub-mounted motor offering longer claimed driving range. 

Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6

Royal Enfield will officially enter the electric motorcycle club, with their first-ever electric two-wheeler, Flying Flea C6. C6 will be the first one under the Flying Flea series; later, the brand will also launch the S6 (Scrambler 6). Here’s what you can expect from the RE Flying Flea C6:

• The Flying Flea C6 will have retro styling, blending well with modern engineering. The model will have a teardrop-shaped tank, a round digital display, and an exposed aluminum exoskeleton frame. 
• The model will have an advanced magnesium battery case with fins combined form and function, with incredible lightning. 
• The model has integrated full map navigation and an in-house developed OS for seamless connection.

Ola Cruiser

Another electric motorcycle to be launched in the Indian market by Ola Electric Mobility is the Ola Cruiser. According to the reports, it can be launched in India around mid-to-late 2026, and you can expect the following design and features:

• The model will have modern styling with retro vibes, perfect for city commutes. The model will feature a full digital instrument cluster, LED lighting, an app-based navigation system, and ride mode options. 
• The model is expected to have a battery capacity of 7.1 kWh, and it can offer a driving range of 211 km.

Ultraviolet Tesseract 

Ultraviolet unveils the new electric scooter Tesseract in the Indian market in March 2025, and the deliveries are expected to begin in early 2026. The Bengaluru-based company has started booking for the electric scooter at ₹999. Here’s what the new electric scooter from Ultraviolet offers you:

• The company offers Tesseract in four shades: Desert Sand, Sonic Pink, Stealth Black, and Solar White. 
• The Tesseract model has futuristic styling, with a sharp and bold body structure. The model has front and rear radar sensors to warn you about any obstacles. 
• The model has LED headlamps and signature taillights, giving the scooter a premium look with smart mirrors. 
• The models offer battery capacity from 3.5 kWh to 6 kWh and a driving range from 162 km to  261 km. 

Ather EL-01

Ather will be bringing an affordable electric scooter to the Indian market by mid-to-late 2025, maybe during the festive season. The model showcased the EL-01 concept at the Ather Community Day in 2025. Here’s what you can expect from the Ather EL-01:

• It will be an entry-level model, with a large flat headboard, single seat with backrest, a swingarm-mounted motor, 14-inch front wheels, and smart storage. 
• The model is expected to have a battery capacity between 2 to 5 kWh with direct drive motors offering decent driving range.
