The Volkswagen ID. Polo EV is an upcoming all-electric car whose global debut will take place in spring 2026. It will be available with multiple battery packs, which will be for short city and long highway driving.

The 37 kWh battery and 57 kWh battery are likely to support up to 100 kW and 130 kW DC chargers, which will charge this EV in just 30 minutes from 20% to 80%. The AC charger of 11 kW is expected to take up to 8-9 hours to fully charge.
Chassis
The Volkswagen ID. Polo EV is built on the MEB+ platform, which features a low centre of gravity and better handling stability. The front brake ventilated disc, which has strong stopping power and better heat dissipation, and the rear disc, which ensures smooth and powerful braking.
This electric car’s front suspension is MacPherson strut, which provides a comfortable ride in the city and stable steering at highway speeds, and the rear one is torsion beam; it is lightweight and space-efficient and provides a good balance between comfort and control.

The ground clearance is 165 mm, good enough to cross the potholes and speed breaker. The boot space of this electric car is 435 litres; it is a good space to fit four big pieces of luggage easily.
